When you decide to rent a motorhome to discover the dlights of Scotland, that can be the easy part - then you've a huge choice of campsites to stay at.

That's why we have started asking some of our customers for their reccomendations, as personal experience is really the best guide you can get!

Below are some places that have been visited by people renting one of our motorhomes, with more being regularly added:

 

EDINBURGH - with its' many attractions the capital city is always popular with tourists.

Silverknowes Campsite - Just a few miles outside Edinburgh. Very clean and professionally run campsite. Spacious with loads of run between each pitch. Buses available nearby to go into Edinburgh. Only sometimes a little noise from aircraft landing at the nearby airport. FORT WILLIAM - beautiful scenery on the west coast and you'll find Ben Nevis here - Scotland's largest mountain.

LOCH LOMOND - a popular stop off point for people heading to or from the highlands

Loch Lomond Holiday Park - 'great' carvan park with lovely location near the loch. Only problem can be the insects in the summer months. See http://www.lochlomond-caravans.co.uk/ (Visited by the Ramos family August '11)

 

SKYE - because of its' beauty this island is one of the most poular places to visit.

STIRLING  - a historic city in central Scotland, with its' own castle and loads of history in the area. Also a good base for visiting the Trossachs area.
